As of October, we sent out 100 post-op packs to patients who’ve had pectus surgery.
At the end of February 2026, we launched our post-op pack, which included:
a medical ID bracelet
one-year membership to MedicAlert’s first responder service
CPR guidance
physiotherapy advice
a list of early warning signs of potential risks and complications
The purpose of the post-op pack was to support patients after being discharged from hospital to help them feel more confident and supported in the immediate post-op period.
We are very proud to have sent out our hundredth post-op pack. For a small charity who is passionate about supporting patients, this is a huge achievement
Applications for the post-op pack are currently paused whilst we take some time to evaluate the success of the project. We hope to reopen applications in the New Year.
